Hey r/frugal, my eldest sisters wedding is coming up soon and I need some help. I have 5 siblings and for the most part they are all married off. I have never had to attend a wedding where I was expected to give a gift before. I'm kind of at a loss.
I don't make much and I don't want to be rude or disrespectful. I figured r/frugal would be the place to ask.
What should I get her as a gift? She hasn't made a gift list yet. At most I can put $20 away twice a month. So that's $120 by the wedding.
Giving that in cash seems like a slap in the face, but I have no idea what I could give that wouldn't be a insult.
Any advice is welcome.
