Forgive me if this is an inappropriate place to post this, I googled the subject and couldn't find anywhere with more posts about it.
I want to buy a used Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair, the price I was offered is $550. The price is decent, but I'm worried that with the way I tend to treat my furniture, it will lose most of its value. I have cats that sometimes scratch things up, and I eat at my computer, which means the occasional stain or spill.
How much would my chair likely devalue with some cat scratches and stains?
