Have been in the midst or renovating my first home and almost finished with the bathroom. I removed all the old tile and found the old cement board in great condition behind it, just with the mortar stuck to it. Due to the smaller tiles I wanted to use I decided to remove the old board and put new up as well so I could start with a fresh surface. Now that I've completed that, I was advised that UGL Drylok before mortar was a good idea. But after some research I see that's its apparently not??
