I need help determining the cheapest way to buy milk. Obviously buying the gallon is cheaper than buying a half gallon, which is cheaper than a quart, and so on. The problem is I'm the only one in my household than drinks milk, and it's mostly for my coffee and not by the glass or in my cereal (I eat limited simple carbs and no sugar so basically plain shredded wheat only).
If I buy a gallon I end up throwing out 90% of it. I can also buy a pint for the same damn price and not throw out any. I feel like I'm at a loss either way I go.
