Long story short, my partner ended up owing 20k for 2 profitable years. I have a wife and 2 kids; he is single.
His lawyer filed some form that basically got the IRS to send everything they had on him. I think I need to start with that.
On a positive note, I have 20k in losses for 2016 and a w2 with minimal deductions.
Ready to settle up with the IRS so I can file my taxes and buy a house.
Please help with suggestions and links if you have them. Thanks!
