Pics: http://ift.tt/2tmAdbc, my first post here. I'm looking for some advice on how best to improve the outdated flooring in our kitchen. We currently rent in a higher cost of living area in the Bay Area and are planning on staying in this house for a while. We love the area and are happy with the house, but have talked about updating the kitchen floors for a while. There appear to be many highly rated laminated flooring options. I prefer not needing to remove the existing flooring or apply adhesive on top of it either. The biggest issue we haven't been able to find a solution to is what to do about the linoleum going up the walls (there is also a metal liner around the top). Is there any sort of molding we can put over top? Is there anyway around not cutting it/removing it? What would you do? Would love to hear some insight and thoughts about how people might tackle this flooring project. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2tNAYuN
