Hey guys! First time posting to this subreddit so please forgive me. I'm in the Navy and I need to get a car. I make about $1730 a month, and I just need advice. My friends told me to buy used. "Just get something that will take me from point A to point B". They're gear heads so I just their opinion. However, my mom told me to buy new (or used from a dealer) and instead of getting a loan get it financed through the dealer. If anyone can help me at all I'd appreciate it and if y'all need any more information to assist me I'm more than willing. Thanks!
