I'm currently living in a 1,200 sq ft home in the Midwest and consistently pay $300 a month for electricity. There are only two of us in the household, and we're using 1,700 kWh per month on average. Windows are regularly kept closed, and Nest thermostats are kept at 85 during the day and 76 in the evenings.

I'm having trouble figuring out what could possibly be using so much electricity - we're on city water and our water heater is natural gas. Is there an easy way for me to identify where energy is being used?
