I recently was hired as an assistant and my new boss wants me to email him a 1099 (I'm an independent contractor); I've never filled one out and everything on google is geared towards an employer filling it out not an employee. Is it possible to fill one out online? All forms I've found are for 2016 or earlier, cannot change the year to 2017. How do I fill it out? Do I fill out each copy?
