As the title suggests I got an offer as a Process Engineer at a Steel Foundry starting at $60k. Full benefits with health, eye, and dental insurance, 401k, the whole works. I'm 25 years old with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and basically no experience. I know that at least half of the engineers that currently work there have overtime pay in their benefits package and I definitely want that. I guess my question is, should I go ahead an ask to add that on in my offer? This is basically my first "professional" job and I have no idea how I could even bring this up in a conversation and I hardly have any merit to negotiate (or at least I feel that way.) I don't want to seem greedy nor do I want them to revoke the offer because I really want to work there.
