I intend on proposing the deal to him but would like to see first if anyone has any tips on how to go about this in the right way. I'd obviously like to get a good deal. I imagine he would need to do a fair bit of work to get the house into 'selling condition' and I'm willing to buy as is. How do I negotiate down to a good price? Let me know if I can add any more details.
