Hi DIY,I'm looking for some advice here. We just bought a house and the basement is finished but with just a slab of concrete for the floor. I would like to install some laminating flooring. I did it once but there was already a subfloor in a perfect state, I just needed to lay down the laminate basically.For what I understood from my readings... I will need a subfloor (plywood) and an underlayment/moisture barrier (especially for the bathroom). When I look a the slab, it's not levelled and there is this small "parting" between the two slabs image 1 image2; so my questions are: how do I level the floor before putting the subfloor?
