This is going to be my first DIY project, and I will admit it's a little bit ambitious, but from what I've read, I don't think it will be too difficult.I'm not too sure what to build the desk primarily out of, keep in mind I am completely new to this. In the end, I want the desk to have a high shine, glossy white finish too it. I need it to be on the cheaper side (cost, not quality), but I need it to be sturdy and able to hold all the weight that will be on it. Below you will some some pictures of the model I made.http://ift.tt/2vavwDC you can see, it's quite a simple desk. I don't generally like the look of legs so instead I want to use the right cabinet (that I will also be making) and the left storage area as the "legs" with the "waterfall" type sides to make it look better, in my opinion. Will all of this in mind, the finish I want, the weight it needs to withstand, etc. what would you think I should use for base building material? Any additional information needed I will provide, I'm writing this quite late in the day and not thinking perfectly straight. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2u1AcGZ
