I'm 19 years old, and I am a college student who is confused. I know many of you have most likely been asked "where do I start investing?" "Can you give me some tips?" So I am sorry if I sound like another repetitive mindless kid, but I am genuinely curious on how to start investing. I'm not looking to be making 1k-10k a month. In all honesty I'm wanting to make less than a hundred to two hundred a month. I have extra capital from my job (2k to be exact) and this is from me subtracting all my living expenses and personal money I would be spending on myself and my girlfriend. So, I'm not extremely worried if I lose it (of course still worried). I want to ask for any helpful advice that will benefit me in learning and slowly get me to start feeling comfortable investing.

I have never invested and I am completely clueless to the whole thing. I have read on reddit many posts in the past month and I do know a bit about it, but it all seems overwhelming when I read the comments and people using terms that I've never heard before.

TLDR ; I am a 19 year old that has 2k and doesn't know where to start (looking to make anywhere from $50-$200). Clueless to buying or trading stocks and was wondering what are some tips or advice (have read posts this past month and know the general idea of it). I want to learn so that hopefully I could have extra money on me just in case.
