I need some advice! A few years ago, my grandma passed away and left me an apartment (worth around 200k) and a good deal of stock (~10k). I recently graduated college, I have no student loans to be repaid, and I'm living with my mom as my father recently passed away. All things considered, I'm in a pretty solid spot financially for someone my age, but unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about finance. What can I do with this money to make it work for me? Should I just leave it alone and let it grow? My mom and I had talked about starting a business, as she got a very nice chunk of change from my father's life insurance. I've always wanted to buy a mountain home in someplace like Colorado or Montana. Are mountain homes a good investment? As you can see, I'm pretty lost here, any advice would be appreciated.
