I'm 18 in November and have been interested in investing for a long time. I start my first college courses in Fall, so i don't have a lot of money. I am in a community college and planning on transferring to a 4 year university within 3 years. I am looking for options to invest in under $1000 that will pay out 3-5 years from now. Is it even worth investing if i have such a low amount of money? Any investment suggestions are greatly appreciated, general or specific.
