I work in a sales site and they have a rotation that we all have to follow. However when customers come in my manager cherry picks the best ones for the top reps and gives the rest to us. (Im new less than 2 months) she keeps saying shes trying to help us get our numbers up and training blah blah but she picks the worst customers and gives them to me. Ive been in sales for years at other jobs i think anyone can be sold. But when your learning the ropes it can be tough. Well why would she do this? Well they had a marketing issue and they are much slower than they are supposed to be. So basically im the going to be fired so sge has someone to point at. Instead of following the rotation amd giving everyone a fair shot.
Whats a bad customer in my business? Well they have poor credit, or just bought elsewhere, or already have our best product and use it to its fullest.
I know this seems like speculation but its not. Its blatant and highly against company policy. However there is no one above her in our site and no one to go to. Its my word vs hers. I have not confronted her but was told if i don't sell alot by friday im fired. All of the other employees see this too but wont say anything about it. Ive never been fired before i work very hard. Bur being already in a New transirion and made a morter so she doesnt look as bad kills me inside.
