Hi! I'm new to this subreddit (and fairly new to adulthood) and I'm looking for some advice. Me and my boyfriend are in the beginning stages of looking to move into an apartment. We've toured a couple places and searched online a lot but have a lot of questions. When applying to apartments, should we expect every apartment to have an application fee, and some have an "admin fee" that we don't understand.
Also, what are some ways we can save money on things like utilities, groceries, and still having money for recreational activities?
