Today I visited an Amish Bent and Dent store for the first time, and I was absolutely dumbfounded by how low the prices were. Most of the food is either slightly to moderately past the best by date or in damaged packaging. None of the food I bought tastes stale or spoiled at all.
These stores appear to be very common in Amish country. The store I visited is near Mansfield, Ohio.
Some deals I found include:
Ghiradelli hazelnut dark chocolate bar: 3 for $1
10 pack of Perrier pink grapefruit sparkling water: $2
Brookside fruit and nut bars: 10 cents
Bottle of Sweet Leaf organic lemonade tea: 20 cents
Annie Chun seaweed crisps: 10 cents
Box of 5 KIND maple pumpkin seed bars: 50 cents
Starbucks house blend ground coffee: $2.50
Box of 18 Folgers caramel K Cups: $3.50
