About four months ago I purchased a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT for about $10k all said and done. I'm still making payments on it (about $350).
Two days ago I noticed a clicking sound coming from the engine. I took it to a Subaru dealership and they said the costs could be anywhere from $7k-$13k for parts and work. The car is under no warranty.
Financially I don't know what do....Buy a new car and make payments on both? Bite the bullet and pay for the fix? I don't particularly want to pay for two cars, one of which doesn't run well or at all.
We can't be sure what exactly is wrong with the engine unless we take it out meaning to have to pay for a lot of work when it may not be the best option.
Please help! I feel so lost. I appreciate in advance any advice or information!!
