I recently received a $1154 medical bill for a voluntary procedure (sleep study). My insurance paid $681, which left a remainder of $1154.
I've contacted the hospital. The coding is correct. Insurance has been billed correctly. I'm not qualified for financial aid. The requirement is ~$23K. I make too much. They will not negotiate a lump sum payment.
Are there any other options than a payment plan?
