As the title reads, a power surge killed my computer. We have previously contacted Npower about our power grid as we [for some unknown stupid reason] have been having a lot of cutouts ever since our newer neighbours moved in. An engineer came and investigated the power grid and recommended we call Npower again about getting our own power supply as opposed to having it run through our neighbours. We followed his advice but Npower have done nothing. Since then, we have had a few power cuts and more ignored requests. Now the latest cut has killed my PC which cost me around £3000.
Am I owed compensation from the power company for damaged property?
Thanks.
