PayPal pulled three payments from my bank account instead of using LOC, resulting in a Domino effect that led to five overdraft fees for almost $200. Politely asked my bank to waive them and they credited me for 6.

Granted, I've had an account with them for more than five years and keep it in good standing,but it just goes to show it never hurts to ask. Explained the situation with my bank, and they ended up crediting me for 6, totalling $222. It's crazy what keeping cool and asking nicely can get you.
