Hey guys! So, I live in Southern California which is a very high cost of living. I currently pay 2000 for a 2 bedroom. We have a lot of amenities like w/d in unit, gym access, attached garage and all that good stuff. Anywho, i just came back from a trip in Dallas/ Fort Worth and I cannot believe the deals I saw. For 2000, i can get a whole house and have enough land to build a gym and a pool in the back. Its incredible.
So, my question is any other cities on the rise? I read in other posts like Colorado Springs and Charlotte but that was a couple of years back. Also, what other things do you have to look when you are looking these things up? Been thinking a lot of about moving out of state. Went to Portland and Texas this year already and the deal are just amazing. What do you guys think? Did any of you transition from a high cost to a lower cost? How did you do the transition? Did you just look for jobs before you moved there? I can create an opportunity for me in Dallas/Fort Worth since I have family there. I would like to finish my degree first though. Working on my Bachelors then move. I only have 1 more year.
