So I have been actively searching for a place to rent and I found this place for $1200 plus utilities. It's 1000 square footage, no basement, but has lots of storage (closets) and a very little danced yard.
I am trying to live a very simple life saving up for a house, but I also don't want my kids in an apartment as we have always lived in a 5 bedrooms house plus I don't like living in an apartment for personal reasons.
Is 1000 square footage for 1 adult and 3 kids too tight? Note this will be only for a year or two before we can buy our own.
Do you think $1200 is reasonable for this size or should I just add $300 and get a good size house for $1500 plus utilities??
I have to get back to him by Monday.
