My college has regular gym "classes" that basically just involve you signing in and out to use the school gym on your own time (after one orientation class).
They are pass/fail, so as long you go roughly 3hrs a week on average throughout the semester you pass.
In addition to the gym classes, my local school also offers kickboxing, boot camp, all kinds of dance, basketball, baseball, soccer, weight lifting, yoga, swimming, tennis, golf, archery and many other classes!
Now for the price! Most of the classes are one or two credits, and each credit is on average ~$40-50 (in CA).
So for five months of unlimited gym use or a couple classes a week is no more than $100.
Plus - you get a student ID which can get you discounts at many other places!
