I'm a 27 y/o novice investor and right now just maxing out 401k/IRA in SP500 index funds. While I've enjoyed all the appreciation over the last few years - I'm looking to add some yield that is re-invested continually. What are my best options?

1) Corporate Bond Index Fund - VICSX?

2) High Yield Stock Index Fund - VHDYX?

3) Straight up high dividend stock - BX?

When comparing the Bond/Stock index funds, both seem to have ~3% yield, but high yield stocks like BX have 10% annually? I feel like thats too good to be true, am I missing something?
