I'm posting to ask what we should change and what we should leave, as we want the house as nice as possible for the next people, but we don't want to waste time changing things they'll change again.Long story short is that my friend inherited a house from his Gran and needs to sell it so the rest of the family can get their inheritance.So far he's removed all the furniture that can't be sold. We're selling all the remaining furniture. There's also £5000 in a bank account to pay for improvements.We have pulled away wallpaper in the hallway to reveal mould underneath. We would like to leave a plain pale coat of paint but would like advice on how to prepare the walls.The upstairs bathroom could really do with some work.The carpet on the stairs has been removed, thinking about standing them and leaving them without carpet.The kitchen really needs some work.The living room and three bedrooms seem ok, apart from new carpet (Not in pics).Imgur gallery.
