My roommate and I are planning on going to Home Depot and grabbing the materials to create a pair of these DIY chair mats. I've identified the peel n' stick' panels however I need some help with the plywood selection. Home depot has these options offered.Unfortunately I have no clue how to determine the type of carpet this is resting on...here are a few pictures...I should stop biting my nails I know :(What thickness of plywood should I go for and what type? Obviously I would not want any bend if there is an office chair rolling around on it with a 210 lb+ person in it. Also looking for this to be a cheaper project so not looking to buy one of the $50 options.Lastly, is there anything I can do for the edges?
