I just wanted to share with you something that has saved me so much money.
I live in Seattle and it is popular here for people to join a "buy nothing" Facebook group for the neighborhood they live in. On this group people will post things they are giving away for free for anyone to pick up. I have given away and received so many things I would have spent money on buying it new. You can also ask for items and most of the time, you will receive what you are looking for.
It is definitely worth checking out if this is something people are doing in your area!
