So here's a little bit about me. I'm 33 years old, male, single, no kids, live very frugally and wait tables. I have two degrees from a good state school, but are liberal arts and are nonspecific. Most of my work experience is in the service industry so I tend to gravitate back to it since I usually make more there than the 10-15 an hour jobs I see available w my experience. I don't qualify for most things requiring experience in jobs I've applied for, and am too old to be looked at for entry level jobs I've applied for(or the competition is fierce as I never even get calls for an interview and I've tried many times for a range of things).

So basically I'm in a good position to take a chance and try to make more income, be it start a business, invest etc. or anything to help me get out of this cycle of the service industry.

What would you financially savvy redditors do in my position of freedom to become wealthy and/or grow financially? I'm open to any suggestions and would appreciate the advice. Thanks.
