Often the packs are cheaper but not always. Today at Michael's I needed metallic sharpies. They had a section of packs of sharpies. All were crazy expensive. The 3 metallic colored pack was $12.99. More than $4 each! When I went to the individual marker section, they had the metallic ones for $2.49 each. So about $7.50 all together for the exact same markers. Completely ridiculous price mark up on the packs. So this was a good reminder for me to always check price per unit and thought I'd share my find.
