I've been trying to look for a good quality and simple fan that isn't a PITA. Tower fans are impossible to properly clean. Pedestal fans are bulky in terms of space due to the massive bases, and the less said about the dyson fans, the better.
The best fans I've come across are the box type variety - nice and simple, super easy to keep clean with no complex plastic parts impossible to get into (look at you, Vornado. I love your fans but christ is keeping you clean impossible) and give out a good amount of air, plus you can throw filter bags over them and have them next to a windowsill so they actually bring in cold air. The problem is that for some reason they don't exist in the UK at ALL. Why are they only in the US?
So, are there any half decent fans in the UK at all?
