I was trying to create a Google spreadsheet that pulled numbers from Google Finance to more easily see them side by side, but the GOOGLEFINANCE() function is missing a lot of numbers I'd like to see. Then I started pulling numbers from Yahoo Finance, which had more to offer but is still missing information.
For example, I find it strange that neither the GoogleFinance() function and Yahoo's API can give me a number for ROE to put into my spreadsheet, yet I can find that number when I go straight to Yahoo's or Google's website.
In addition, this only give's me the day's information, and I'd like to see historical data as well. Clearly I'm doing something wrong so what are the tools that you use instead?
