Hello, everyone.

I'm rather particular with how I do my laundry. For clothes that I can machine-wash, I haven't found a laundry detergent (I've tried many!) that cleans my clothes as effectively as Tide.

Arguably, Tide is rather expensive, but I'm willing to spend the extra money because the results are evident.

A local store is now selling:

  • 4.43 L bottles of Tide liquid detergent (96 loads)
  • 144 oz boxes of Tide Plus Bleach powdered detergent (80 loads)
  • 143 oz boxes of Tide powdered detergent (102 loads)

The liquid detergent is $17.97, and the powdered detergents are $18.96.

I've only used liquid Tide; however, I'm starting to believe that powdered Tide may be superior in removing stains (I'd just have to wait a little longer for it to dissolve in the water before loading my laundry).

For any of you who use Tide, which version do you prefer? Do you know any way to save even more money on Tide? A 143 oz box of powdered Tide would last me approximately 6 months which seems reasonable to me.
