This is just a reminder that Bank of America charges $144 a year to have a basic checking account, and will change your account type over automatically after you graduate, or charge you when you're looking for a job

So if you're recently graduated, unemployed, or have another life event don't be surprised to see a $12 a month "account maintenance fee" if your account has a penny under $1500 at any time throughout the month.
