I am right now very bearish on the US economy. This is an underreported story that is actually really really big news. Retailers are going bankrupt at record pace Right now, and nobody is talking about it.
As they go bankrupt they are shedding employees left and right. These are low skilled employees, when they get let go of retail, and there are no other retail jobs to go to, they are screwed!
this is going to have cascading effects across the entire economy.
