I am a woman, but will probably need men's boots in order to get all of the features I want. So feel free to recommend them. I'm not looking for something to dress up in, I'm looking for something for daily wear. Think hiking boots, not thigh high heeled boots.
My perfect boot:
- lightweight
- low heel-to-toe drop (as little heel as possible)
- completely covers the ankle and has enough stiffness when laced tightly to block most lateral motion
- is a laced boot - i need that level of flexibility in sizing
- the widest toe box possible (in fact wide in general)
- can be retrofitted with custom insoles (some shoes I've purchased have the insoles glued down)
I'm crossing my fingers...
