For my birthday 8 years ago, my husband gave me a pair of Beats by Dre Lady Gaga Heartbeats. They've been EXCELLENT earbuds. Sound quality has been fantastic, they stay in my ears while exercising and I haven't had a single complaint until today. Unfortunately, their phenomenal construction failed, and the part where the bud connects to the cord has broken and frayed.
I'm pretty distraught by this. I've been so impressed by this singular pair of headphones for the last near-decade.
At this point I can only hear from the left bud, and I'm forced to ask: help me Reddit??? I need another set of excellently constructed earbuds to last a similar amount of time and am willing to invest $100-200 in a quality set.
Earbuds must be AUX jack capable, as I find it annoying to recharge Bluetooth headphones (unless you can convince me otherwise).
The set I currently have came with a carrying case and several different sizes of eartips. I have very small ears, so this was a huge plus. I often have trouble finding eartips small enough. I'd like another set with a similar bundle.
I searched the Beats website and it looks like they only offer one choice of aux earbuds, which are poorly rated. I'm disappointed, because I had been so happy with my current pair. But, I guess quality standards have declined in the last 8 years.
So please, I would like suggestions for quality brands. Looking for fantastic sound quality and durable construction. Let me know how long you have been using the brand you recommend and a specific model if necessary.
Note: I've considered trying to find another pair of Heartbeats on eBay, but eBay has given me nothing but stress in the past. Plus, it's been nearly a decade, so I have a hard time trusting that "unopened" packaging would even be a legitimate thing at this point.
Please help?!
