I'm looking for a backpack that will perform a number of duties:
A) Serve as my only bag for a two week trip to Europe. It should hold everything I need (40+ liter volume) and be able to be used in a carry-on capacity if possible (but not necessary)
B) Serve as a backpack for a hiking trip later this summer. I am looking for it to be able to hold weight at the hips and be able to function well for multiple trips into the woods. Possibly for hunting use as well, as I do not have a designated hunting pack atm.
I am looking for it to:
-
Be constructed from high denier fabric. I can sacrifice some weight if this thing will never tear.
-
Be very multi-purpose. This bag will be doing a lot of things.
-
Hold a lot of weight comfortably for long periods. There will be days when I may not be able to let this thing out of my sight.
Budget is not an issue, as I've been looking at relatively expensive bags, but I won't be spending anywhere near $1000.
I know there's a post in the sidebar, but it doesn't really have a pack that fully fits my needs, I think.
Please help!
