I've heard very good things about the JBL and UE bluetooth speakers. Particularly the Flip 3 (and now Flip 4), Charge 3 and UE roll and UE boom.
The Flip 3 retails for 69 pounds in the UK where the flip 4 is near 120 pounds. I've heard the UE roll and UE boom don't give quite as good sound quality as the JBL counterparts but are more rugged (both being fully water proof where the flip 3 is only splashproof).
Being fully waterproof isn't an issue for me but having it reasonably rugged is important. Any recommendations for me? I'm keen to buy one as I'm going away for geology fieldwork and could use a good bluetooth speaker.
