I just discovered Poshmark and as a lover of thrift stores, I'm digging it. What are best practices for buying used clothes online? Do you ask a lot of questions, like the weight of the material, stretch, exact measurements? I just moved to a colder climate, so I'm trying to expand my cooler weather wardrobe and fabric weight is kinda important.
Also. When people give measurements like "18 inches across the bust" do you double it and mentally add ease to your measurements like you would if you were sewing?
I'm like a small/medium, depends on the brand. I'm used to altering my own clothes so maybe just aim for the larger side and take it in if it's too big?
