Hi r/investing! (Sorry this will be long and if anybody gives me their time to read this I love you)I'm a 14 year old guy and got into investing in late July. I invested into the following stock in the past months: AKS, MDR, MUX, and AUY. MDR happens to be the only stock I have been successful with but just slightly. The other 3 stocks are almost -50% of what I bought them at. All in all I have about $500 between these which doesn't seem like much but I'm 14 so it's quite a bit. However, I'm currently saving up to invest in mutual funds in the future (minimum 2.5k) and I'm almost there. I feel like that will be a hit and help me make my money back. Could you wonderful people give me some advice on how not to make this mistake again and what stats to look at next time. Once again I want to thank you if you read this and I'm an open book and would love to learn as much as possible. Thank you! :)
