Im typing this from my phone and gonna fill in much detail that i know of.
She works in a spa as a massage therapist and she just got fired today or let go. Her employer gave her no reason as why she was being fired,. They said that she is an independent contractor.
My mother also claims that her workplace bosses are racist towards anyone that isnt korean. Its really devastating to her and to us, especially after mothers day.
I personally don't know if she has contract with them or not but i asked her to get it.
Can you fire an independent contractor? Or if she is employee, can they fire her without a valid reason?
