I had an interview yesterday with a company that there and then said they would like me to join the team. They have sent me a letter saying that the latest start date they can offer me is the 5th June but if I hand my 4 Week notice in to my current employer - then I wont be able to leave until 13th June. What is the best way to go around this?
My current manager is more of a friend and I dont want to leave him in the shit as he has holiday booked from 2nd June until 12th June and I am covering the office.
