I bought the supima stretch chinos in grey and the irish linen chinos. First thing I can say about both is that they are extremely lightweight. From an initial glance, the supima chinos are much softer compared to both my N&F chinos and previous chinos from Jomers. Quality seems high and construction seems sturdy enough for long term wear. I have no complaints here.

The "linen" pants are 70% cotton and 30% linen and for that reason, they seem to be less prone to wrinkles and therefore less maintenance in ironing before every wear. But even then, I don't think these can qualify as business casual pants. They are closer to pajamas, which depending on your perspective may be a good thing. I can also see these losing shape very fast. It fits like a slim straight (mainly due to the softness) but over time, the fabric may stretch to fit like a straight.

Fit wise I can say that they got it right this time (for me at least). The biggest factor in my judgement is rise - the distance between the top of the pants and the crotch space. In other words, is my junk gonna be comfortable? (as an aside, I simply have no idea why anyone would want a smaller rise) I'm a size 32 and according to the size chart, the rise is 10.25 inches which may not seem like much but having sat down in all sorts of positions, I can say that there is a good bit of room and combined with the softness and flexibility of the pants, there is zero pressure.

If anyone has any questions, let me know. I'll possibly upload pictures later on but the pictures on the site are pretty accurate.

Can anyone who ordered both the summerweight AND the supima chinos compare them?
