I'm a 20 year old male. I have a girlfriend of 1 1/2 years. I used to be extremely lavious when it came to spending my parents money when I was a kid (sort of well-off), but ever since I started working, I've become EXTREMELY cheap. I used to worry about buying our dinner every time we went out, or if she wanted some makeup, but I'm sort of better with treating her out, but I was wondering if it's bad if I'm cheap? I try to save EVERY single dollar, and I get anxious when I spend $2 on unnecessary items (like soda). I've amassed around $20k so far so I think i'm doing well. My friends tell me I'm really cheap, and I've had incidents with my girlfriend's friends that I'm cheap as well (they believed it was bad). What do you guys think?
