I have no idea if this is another subreddits territory but here is my situation.
I am moving in with my boyfriend. We were going to split out paychecks, both with a fixed percentage. He said they should be the same percentage, 70%. I did the math on my income, and it leaves me with a small amount left over to delegate to special savings accounts. I checked his paycheck and he would keep a good amount more that I would keep.
His paycheckes are 15% more that I make, so would it be reasonable for me to contribute 50% and he 60% to the finances for the both of us?
