Sometime over the last 30 years, this strange table got some pen ink on it...And I recently decided to try to remove the stain with a paste of baking soda and water.Big novice mistake on my part. The paste removed some of the ink, but also managed to spread it into the surrounding wood. The drawers are made of solid wood...So I'm thinking that some light sanding and re-staining will probably be involved to resolve the issue.Where do I start? What grit of sandpaper should I use? How do I match the color? How do I NOT ruin it more? The drawers are tiny, but unremovable...And they are attached to an unwieldy, heavy spine and steel legs...So I can't really drag the damn thing into my local Home Depot looking for a color match.http://ift.tt/2q8dY4L in advance for any help/suggestions! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2qLeFUI
