I went to a liquor store down the street that always has charged me for using my Debit and CC when I purchase. It's always been a flat fee of $.50 and that always seemed wrong to me. Today I see they now want to charge a flat fee of $.75 a transaction. I got fed up and looked up the rules for merchants and this is a violation of both Visa and Mastercards merchant rules, so I reported them. I hope that maybe if folks start reporting stores for this we'll see a decline in these invalid fees.
